Opera for children and with children
Bringing the joy of opera to youth in the Greater Philadelphia are since 2010
Children’s Opera Box is an educational opera company that brings opera from the big theaters to children and youth throughout the city. We strive to present our audiences with an engaging, fun and inspirational operatic experience that will stimulate life-long learning and interest in the arts.
Since 2011, we have reached more than 2,000 children in the Greater Philadelphia area, some as audience members and many as active participants in our productions.
Children’s Opera Box is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Children’s Opera Box must be made payable to Fractured Atlas only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
